Understand visibility, position, and sentiment

Read the three core AI search metrics that explain whether a brand appears, where it appears, and how it is described.

Visibility

Visibility shows the share of monitored answers where the brand appears. It is the fastest way to understand whether AI systems include the brand for a prompt group.

Position

Position shows how early the brand appears when multiple brands or sources are mentioned. Higher visibility with weak position may mean the brand is present but not prominent enough to influence consideration.

Sentiment

Sentiment summarizes the language used around the brand. Review it with the original answer text, because a number can flag movement but the wording explains the issue.

  • Positive sentiment often includes confident recommendations or clear strengths.
  • Neutral sentiment usually means descriptive language without a strong opinion.
  • Mixed or negative sentiment should be reviewed for accuracy and source issues.
