Run a GEO content audit

Check whether important pages are crawlable, structured, current, and specific enough for AI answer engines.

Start with priority pages

Audit pages that should support high-intent AI prompts first. This usually includes product pages, comparison pages, pricing pages, documentation, category guides, help articles, and trust pages.

Review readiness signals

A GEO-ready page is accessible, structured, specific, and current. The audit should check technical basics and answer extraction quality.

  • Status code, indexability, canonical URL, and rendered content.
  • Clear title, H1, metadata, and headings.
  • Specific entity names, product facts, use cases, and limitations.
  • FAQ, schema, tables, and examples where they help extraction.

Connect audit findings to prompts

The audit is most useful when it points back to a prompt group. If a page is weak for comparison prompts, the recommendation should name the prompts, missing content, and expected visibility outcome.
